There is currently no other official Proto Pipe dealer in Germany. We were on the waiting list for a very long time and can now finally offer you the Proto Pipe at a fair price since September 2023.
We have the Proto Pipe in four versions for you: the Proto Pipe Classic, the Classic Highbrid, the Proto Pipe Rocket and the Proto Pipe Voyager. But what are the differences between the versions?
While the original model, the Classic, has a shiny finish, the other Proto Pipes are made of matte brushed brass. The Classic Highbrid is otherwise the same shape and size as the ProtoPipe Classic, but has a patterned "collar" instead of a smooth one that serves as a handle and holds the Stash Pod.
The Proto Rocket is a successor to the Proto Pipe Classic - more or less a further development. The bowl is nice and round and holds a larger volume of smoke.
The Rocket's pivoting lid is shaped into a graceful crescent shape that cleverly doubles as a clip for smoke butts. The lower tar chamber has been changed from a plug to a lid that pivots like the upper lid, making cleaning even easier than on the Classic models.

Phil Jergenson spent three years redesigning the Proto Pipe® Rocket and created the latest Proto Pipe® model, the Voyager. Inspired by sci-fi classics, it has three new features: a wider structured collar on the reservoir for a better grip, a "Proton Poker" with a solid brass handle for easy handling and a double-grooved bottom lid that is even easier to open, even if the pipe is stuck shut.
The Voyager is the finest of all Proto Pipes and at the same time retains all the top features of the original Rocket: a round pipe bowl with a larger smoke capacity, a pivoting crescent-shaped lid and an easy-to-clean tar trap. The collar around the reservoir is hand-shaped and structured.
All Proto Pipes are made from 100% brass and feature the iconic PP logo embossed on the top of the lid and inside of the pipe bowl. Each pipe is hand crafted and assembled by a small, highly skilled team of just four people in the exact same warehouse that Proto Pipe owned back in the 60s!
The different Proto Pipes don't differ that much from each other in terms of dimensions. But since we've been asked about it a lot, we've summarized everything here (length x height & weight).
Like all models, the Proto Pipe Classic is easy to use and can be cleaned without any problems thanks to the integrated pipe cleaner (or poker). The attached stash pod holds a sufficient amount of your favorite herbs. Perfect for on the go! And the integrated lid on the smoke chamber ensures that your Proto Pipe does not smell too bad after use and that you can transport it carefree in your backpack or pocket.
The Proto Pipe® Classic was designed by Phil Jergenson in the late 1960s. It has a permanently integrated strainer and lid and includes a poker, a stash pod and a tar trap. Additionally, our address is stamped where the Stash Pod attaches to the pipe bowl.
